![]() ![]() ![]() I still can't get over the shock when I beat a dragon in DA2 in literally 30 seconds at very early stage of the game with some help of promo items. ![]() Bosses are much tougher to beat than other RPGs, but they are never impossible and if you work harder(do more quests and buy the best equipment) they are a walk in the park. ![]() The Witcher 2 had no level scalings at all and I would say its level design is very good. Not every game is going to sell like Skyrim just because they have level scaling in common. On the oher hand, there are so many positives of non-scaled enemies(I won't bother listing them here as I feel it's been discussed in many occasions) that I wonder why DA2 had abandoned the concept all together. However, even if enemies are not scaled to your level, with a proper level design all drawbacks can be avoided. Is there going to be level scaling, in terms of XP gain, enemy level table, and monetary rewards?Īs far as I'm concerned the ONLY positive aspect of level scaling is that it reduces grinding and makes it easier for the developers to do level design. ![]()
